We are arriving at our next stay during rain. This is another great hipcamp we have found, check it out. It stopped raining after settling in at the camp. So we are eager to start a fire and cooking. It turned out to be a great relaxing evening sitting by the fire and planning tomorrow’s walks in the Girraween NP. Early in the morning, we are all ready and full of anticipation to start exploring the Girraween NP. We choose to walk the Pyramid track because it challenges us climbing up the rocks. We starting the day with a hike to Cathedral Rock NP. After some consideration, we decided to walk the Loop walk including the summit walk. The loop walk is an easy beautiful walk along rock formations and creeks. As soon as we turned off to the summit walk, we realized that this is going to be more challenging but well worth it. The view on top was just magnificent. The next day we had a look at the Ebor Falls just about 5 min. away from the Ebor Hotel. We watched the picturesque falls from a viewing platform just a few metres away from the carpark. The Wollomombi Falls were next on our list further along the Waterfall Way. We are arriving at our next stay in Urunga. Admiring a peaceful morning along the pet friendly boardwalk. Driving through Bellingen and stopping at the Swiss Bakery. Then we are driving up to the Dorrigo National Park. It is a narrow and windy road to get there. Enjoying a stunning view over the Dorrigo National Park and the Bellinger Valley from the Sky Walk viewing platform and also spotting the topknot pigeon. We are tackling the full loop walk (Wonga walk circuit) to the Crystal Shower Falls and the Tristania Falls. We are camping along the Clarence River on Palmers Island in Yamba. This has to be one of the best camping spot in Yamba. Ozzy and Silvia go for many swims straight from our campsite. We bought delicious fresh seafood for dinner. We walked to the oceanfront in yamba and found the best seat in town. A large storm is heading our way. We tried our luck with fishing as total beginners and soaked up that stunning and tranquil environment as much as we could. We are staying at Lennox Heads enjoying a swim in Lake Ainsworth and long walks along the dog friendly beach. In Ballina, we had some shopping to do and came across the Big Prawn. In Shaws Bay we were lucky to spot Dolphins. We visit Byron Bay and walking up to the Lighthouse and further to the Most Easterly Point of Australia.
